Guasa Group sources Local/community suppliers with strong carbon footprint reduction emphasis. We are committed to sourcing suppliers who sustain ethical
processes and provide the best quality always.
2. Reducing Plastic and Packaging
Guasa Group has adapted plastic-free policies to align with new industry trends and to support the continuous environmental goals within the company.
We use eco/environmentally friendly 100% compostable and recyclable packaging.
3. Reducing Food Waste
Guasa Group have implemented highly efficient processes to support the reduction of
food waste:
We optimize our inventory management
Track and Forecast Demand: We use historical data to better understand customer preferences and predict busy periods. Adjust purchasing accordingly to avoid overstocking.
First In, First Out (FIFO) System: We store newer items behind older stock to ensure the oldest products are used first, reducing spoilage.
Inventory Audits: We conduct regular checks to identify items nearing expiration, making it easier to prioritize their use.
We plan portions and menu carefully
We offer smaller Portions or Tasting Menus: By offering smaller portions or flexible sizes we can reduce plate waste.

Guasa Group is committed to reducing their carbon footprint through more efficient energy use, greener stores, and supply chain innovation. Creating alternative food offerings rather than beef and by extending our vegetarian and plant based options.
Guasa Group source provisions from local suppliers to avoid large movements from suppliers located far from our operations. Especially during the festival season.
We operate with LPG Gas whenever possible and reduce the usage of diesel generators to obtain power from them.

We work in markets and premises where sustainability has been integrated across their supply chains, operations and customer service experiences to reduce their environmental impact.
