The young entrepreneur describes the experience of setting up and expanding his business in London as “incredible”: “I have been so lucky to meet many enthusiastic people throughout this journey; people with a genuine desire to take part and contribute in making our brand such a flourishing business.”

David is an extroverted and energetic young professional with experience in Sales both in the Venezuelan and the UK industries. After completing a Bachelor’s degree in Economics at the prestigious Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas.
Later on, he completed a MSc in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship from Middlesex University in London.
After working as sales marketing advisor for a direct sales and marketing company in London, David finally decided to pursue his dream and went ahead to set up his own food business. David thus founded Guasacaca (as originally called) out of his desire of introducing Venezuela’s favourite dish into London’s vibrant and diverse gastronomic culture.
Throughout the years, the business has secured a strong presence across the city’s food markets and keeps on growing and expanding. David talks proudly of his team, whose members he describes as enthusiastic, happy, motivated and focused on carrying the business forward. They all share the same dream: conquering the hearts -and palates- of British and international customers in the UK and beyond.
